High Polyphenol Chocolate Garcia Clusters

High Polyphenol Chocolate Garcia ClustersWe know polyphenols are rich in antioxidants and has a multitude of health benefits, including for gut health, but how do we get enough of it? Where do we get it? Many berries and fruits contain polyphenols, but did you know one of our favorite treats does as well? Here, we will show you a simple recipe for cherry garcia chocolate clusters, made with delicious dried cherries, creamy and fragrant dark chocolate, with some almonds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds for an extra punch of healthy fats and nutrients.

You can easily make several batches of these and give them out as gifts, since they’re not just healthy for you, but they taste delicious too. Since they’re made with chocolate, be sure to keep them in a cool, dry place.

The bain-marie method of melting the chocolate is going to be your best bet at a smooth and evenly melted solution. It just means melting the chocolate in a smaller pot in a bigger pot of hot water, so the chocolate doesn’t end up burning and comes out shiny and smooth. Also, spring for organic if you can to avoid pesky pesticides and herbicides.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup dried organic cherries
  • ½ cup toasted unsalted organic almonds
  • ¼ cup organic pumpkin seeds
  • ⅛ cup organic chia seeds
  • 1 cup organic unsweetened dark chocolate chips
